Account data: first name, last name, username, e-mail address, account type, company name and business contact details, where applicable.

Listing data: information about the vehicle, photos, price, approximate location.

Verification data: documents and information voluntarily provided as part of identity or address verification.

Technical data: IP address, security logs, connection events and usage statistics necessary for the operation of the service.

Saved searches: when a signed-in user voluntarily saves a search, its criteria and the chosen name are stored in their account so they can run it again. These searches are strictly private, are never published or shared with Sellers or third parties, trigger no alert or e-mail, and are deleted together with the account. 80k.ch only uses anonymised aggregate statistics, with no link to an individual.

Provision and security of the service, creation and management of accounts, publication and moderation of Listings, connecting Sellers and Buyers, invoicing, prevention of fraud and abuse, compliance with legal obligations, and improvement of the platform.

The processing is based on the performance of the user agreement, 80k.ch's legitimate interest in securing and improving its service, compliance with legal obligations and, where applicable, the user's consent.

Data may be transmitted to providers acting on behalf of 80k.ch: hosting and database services, sending of transactional e-mails, payment processing, and automatic translation services for Listing content. These providers are bound by confidentiality and only use the data for the service entrusted to them.

Some providers may process data outside Switzerland or the EU. In such cases, appropriate safeguards are put in place.

The username, account type, verification badges and Listing information are publicly visible. Private contact details are not published: contacts go through the platform's forms.

Data is retained as long as the account is active, then for the periods necessary to comply with legal obligations (in particular accounting obligations) or to defend rights. Security logs are retained for a limited period.

80k.ch applies appropriate technical and organisational measures: encryption of communications, access control, logging of sensitive events, two-factor authentication and limitation of login attempts. Passwords are stored in hashed form and are never accessible to the 80k team.

80k.ch uses cookies that are strictly necessary for the operation of the site, in particular for the authentication session and the language preference. Any audience measurement is carried out in compliance with the applicable legal framework.

You have a right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection, as well as the right to data portability. You may also delete your account from your settings. Requests may be sent via the contact form.
